چکیده

The crude ethanol extract of the stem Tinospora cordifolia (Family Menispermaceae) was evaluated for its antioxidant and analgesic activities. property T. assessed by 1, 1-diphenyl –2- picryl hydrazyl (DPPH) free radical scavenging assay. showed potential activity (IC50 about 52.80 µg/ml), which comparable to standard drug ascorbic acid 4.12 µg ml-1). ethanolic also exhibited statistically significant (p<0.001) writhing inhibition in aceitic induced white albino mice (Swiss-webstar strain). It produced 40% at dose 500 mg kg-1 body weight while (diclofenac sodium) found 45.22 % a 25 weight. results tend suggest that might possess
